Welcome to Staytiny Games

We've been making games for a few years now…
just never like this.
Well… we're honestly really excited about this.
For a while now, we've been going back and forth with the idea of making our first game for Steam. We thought about it a lot. Started things, dropped them… you know how it goes.
At some point, we realized something pretty simple: we genuinely love making games.
We've been doing it since around 2020, mostly through game jams and small experiments.
But we've never made something we could really commit to beyond that.
So yeah… that's why we decided to start Staytiny Games.
Right now, it's just the two of us building this.
For this new chapter, we explored a lot of different ideas until we finally landed on something that really clicked for us:
An incremental pixel art game, where you place islands and capture creatures, with a system somewhat inspired by Pokemon Ranger.
We love pixel art (all of our previous games were pixel art),
we love creature collectors,
and incremental games are just really fun to play.
At some point it all just came together and felt right.
An incremental game felt like the direction we wanted to commit to, and we're really excited to start building on top of that. We'll be sharing more details in future posts.
We're aiming to make something small, but meaningful.
A fun game with a clear and manageable scope.
Our initial goal is to finish it in 3 months…
which will probably turn into 6…
and realistically end up being 9 months of development.
But that's part of the process, and honestly, part of the fun.
Throughout this journey, we want to share our first real experiences and let you be part of it.
Nothing too polished — just showing how things evolve as we build, step by step.
So yeah… more updates coming very soon.
